Upcoming Live Stream Announcements and Recap From Latest Weentar AMA
The team behind the Weentar project continues to work diligently in preparation for the upcoming MVP launch. Last Tuesday, Weentar’s CEO Eduardo Fonnegra and CTO Sebastian Dine joined the community once again for a live streamed AMA session. This week we bring you a recap of that AMA, and the date of our next live streams. Let’s jump right into it!
Upcoming Live Stream Announcements
Eduardo has two amazing live streams scheduled this week! Our first guest, live streaming this Thursday at 10:00 AM CST is JRich ENT. The talented JRich ENT is a hip-hop artist, manager, and music engineer based in Atlanta, Georgia. He has been recognized by SoundCloud as a top industry professional, and has worked with some of the biggest names in the business. He has also been a loyal supporter of Weentar from the beginning.
On Friday, August 20, Eduardo will be going live with Kevin Domon at 11:00 AM CST. Kevin is the Founder and CEO of Musee, an NFT gallery and marketplace. He spent over 10 years in the Canadian Armed Forces before founding Inverted Studios, the company that launched Musee. Musee is an innovative and collaborative NFT project with a growing community.

AMA Summary from August 10, 2021
The full live stream has been uploaded to our YouTube channel, but we have summarized the most important details below.
Sebastian advised that the development team made significant progress with the NFT bidding system recently. The feature is essentially complete, with only cosmetic changes being made at this point. The rest of the core features are fully developed. Minor features that make the platform more user-friendly and easier to navigate are being worked on at the moment.
Sebastian is planning to release another sneak peek video soon! There are many technical features that are only being strategically revealed, so keep your eyes open for these.
Eduardo confirmed that marketing is already taking place for Weentar. The reason we are not seeing a big increase in the numbers, is that the full marketing strategy is geared towards Weentar actually being launched. The team is in discussions with influencers and creators, including digital artists and YouTubers, so that we can have content already on the platform when it does go live.
Editor’s Note: We are already seeing artists reaching out to us asking when and how they can become a creator on Weentar.
A top priority of the team centers around making the new coin easier to trade, which includes discussions with exchanges. The discussions with those major exchanges are promising so far. The listing process for some of them can take some time to navigate through, but everything is moving in the right direction. Other options are also being explored for early trading, as we continue to work through the steps required by the major exchanges.
To help people understand the relationship between the upcoming WNTR coins and social tokens, you can look at Ether on Ethereum as being equal to the WNTR coin on our blockchain, and the social tokens would be like any other ERC-20 token launched on Ethereum. Any gas fees for transactions on Weentar should be much lower than Ethereum due to the low starting price of the coin and the fact that Weentar will use proof-of-stake instead of proof-of-work which Ethereum is using.
